Tickets to Churchill Downs

Mobile Tickets*:

Mobile tickets* will be sent to the email address on file with Derby Experiences from Ticketmaster. Guests must accept tickets either via email or by logging into their Ticketmaster account.

For orders paid in full on or before Sunday, April 13th, tickets will be sent starting on Monday, April 14th.
For orders paid in full after Sunday, April 13th, tickets will be sent starting on Monday, April 21st.

Important Note: Tickets can only be added to mobile wallets starting on Tuesday, April 22nd. Guests who have received their tickets before this date can still view and transfer their tickets upon receipt by following the instructions listed below.

*If your access to Churchill Downs is a physical ticket or an RFID wristband, check your email for further instructions. These items will be included in your physical package – check below under “Package Delivery” for details about collecting your physical package.

How to Access Mobile Tickets on the App:

Open the Churchill Downs mobile app on a mobile device. Tap on the blue ticket icon at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the “My Tickets” option from the banner to manage tickets that have already been purchased.
Tap on the “Sign In / Up Ticketmaster” button. You will be prompted by the app to use “ticketmaster.com” to sign in. Tap “Continue”.
Enter the email address and password associated with your Derby Experiences purchase and click “Sign in”.
After logging in, the tickets will appear in your account.
Starting on Tuesday, April 22nd, you can download your tickets to your mobile wallet.

Mobile Ticketing Information

Guests must accept their tickets either via the email they received or by logging into their Ticketmaster account using the same email address the tickets were sent to.
Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby tickets are sent as one (1) email. Guests who purchased multiple ticket types may receive more than one email.
Printouts and screenshots will not be accepted at entry.
We recommend downloading the tickets to a digital wallet (i.e., Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) before arriving at Churchill Downs. Remember, tickets can only be added to mobile wallets starting on Tuesday, April 22nd.
Guests are responsible for referring to the terms and conditions listed on the ticket.

Orders Paid on or before Sunday, April 13th:

Tickets will be emailed starting on Monday, April 14th.

Orders Paid After Sunday, April 13th:

Tickets will be emailed upon completion of payment starting on Monday, April 21st.

Guests who purchased a stay at the Galt House Hotel through Derby Experiences can pick up their package at the Derby Experiences Ticket Office.

Package Pick Up - Guests who Purchased a Hotel Stay with Derby Experiences (Excluding the Galt House)

Guests who purchased a hotel stay through Derby Experiences (excluding the Galt House) can pick up their package at their hotel. Packages will be available for collection at the reception desk* starting at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st.

In the instance that a guest other than the purchaser of the order is planning to pick up, please follow the steps below:

The purchaser must send an email from the email address on file with Derby Experiences to guestservices@derbyexperiences.com.

The email must contain the purchaser’s full name, the alternative guest’s full name, and state that the purchaser is granting permission for the alternative guest to pick up.

The full name of the guest collecting onsite must match their photo ID.

The alternative guest must bring and show their photo ID before the physical package items are released.

Churchill Downs® Track Information

Bag Policy: Each guest is permitted to bring one bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12".

Weather: Races run rain or shine, though lightning could delay races. Spring temperatures in Louisville tend to be warm; we recommend lightweight fabrics and a rain jacket, as the track prohibits umbrellas.

Parking: Guests who have not purchased parking or transportation through Derby Experiences can park at the Kentucky Exposition Center. On race days, show your ticket at the parking lot gate for access. Shuttles will run regularly to Churchill Downs and back to the Expo Lot throughout Derby Week.
