The 139th running of the $2 million guaranteed Kentucky Derby® Presented by Yum! Brands is set for Saturday, May 4, 2013 with the $1 million Kentucky Oaks® – the Derby’s sister race for fillies – on Friday, May 3, 2013. Derby Experiences, the Official Experience Package Provider to Churchill Downs for the two races, offering official packages of travel, accommodations, tickets, tourism attractions and amenities for Derby week, has sold out every year since 2008, increasing the Derby’s economic impact on Greater Louisville by exposing fans to other regional destinations.
