QuintEvents' Derby Experiences can arrange your transportation to and from Churchill Downs on the day of the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks races, or throughout the entire weekend.
The following transportation options are available to Derby Experiences' guests:

Motor Coach Charter Bus Transportation

The Motor Coach Charter Bus option is a very convenient way to get to and from the track at Churchill Downs on Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks race days.
Derby Experiences' Official Kentucky Derby ticket packages can include round-trip ground transfers to/from select Derby Experiences' hotels. Derby Experiences Trip Directors are onsite and assigned to each hotel to make sure guests know where they are going throughout the day. Ask your representative about adding this service to your package otherwise.
Upon arrival to Churchill Downs, Derby Experiences' trip directors will guide DerbyExperiences' guests from the Motor Coach Charter Bus lot, into Churchill Downs' via the main clubhouse, Gate 17.

Our Semi-Private van transfers give guests the flexibility of choosing when they want to go to/from Churchill Downs. Round trip transfers are available from Derby Experiences' hotels in downtown Louisville to the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks races via 14 person passenger van.
This services departs at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Return transportation is at your request.
The drop off and pick-up location for the van is a short 1.5 blocks from Gate One of Churchill Downs at the entrance to our Derby Experiences Private Parking Lot.

Taxi Service
If you choose to forgo Derby Experiences' ground transportation services and parking options, please note that Taxi service to/from the races and through downtown Louisville's sites around the city is difficult to secure. Please note that taxi lines after the races can be long - up to 3 hours.
If you are attending after-parties or have dinner reservations, this mode of trasportation is not recommended. For help securing reliable ground transfers and parking solutions, call 888.384.7088.
Taxi pick up and drop off areas on Oaks and Derby days are located outside the Churchill Downs' Gate 17 area.
