The 4th annual Taste of Derby™ celebration combines cuisine, racing and style on the eve of the Kentucky Oaks.  The evening highlights Masterful Chefs' dishes from popular horse racing destinations across the country. See the MENU from 2012»

While sampling these delicacies, guest can mingle with Hollywood and horseracing celebrities. Live entertainment will top off the extraordinary evening! Partial proceeds of this event will also go to benefit hunger relief organizations.

Taste of Derby™ is modeled after the popular Taste of the NFL™, a 20-year-old event founded by nationally known restaurateur and 2010 James Beard Foundation Humanitarian of the Year Wayne Kostroski. Churchill Downs partnered with Kostroski in 2010 to create Taste of Derby™ to expose Louisvillians and the thousands of out-of-town guests who visit the Kentucky Derby annually to these great racing communities across the country and the regional flavors that make them as unique as the Derby City.
